VIGO 5.7 OEM Installation

The VIGO 5.7 OEM installation has been extended with some new features.

This VIGO installation package is available as a self-extracting zip-file. After extracting this file, a complete set of installation files is available. This makes it possible for an OEM to make a customised installation to distribute with his machine or equipment.

By default, the file extracts to a folder called ‘Disk 1’. Run ‘Setup.exe’ to install.

VIGO configuration files:

All *.vcf files (VIGO configuration file), located in the Config folder are imported during the installation. Just delete any provided *.vcf files to avoid importing them during the installation.

StaticData and DynamicData:

The contents of the users StaticData and DynamicData folders are copied to the default location during the installation. This enables Visual VIGO designs, Visual VIGO component boxes and RunTime data to be available immediately after installation.

P-NET Gateway Service:

If the PNETGatewayService.stm file is located in the Config folder during the installation, the result is that the file is copied to the VIGO main folder and the configuration will be used by the P-NET Gateway Service immediately after installation.
